Farm house

We named this room after the resident owls we’re sometimes lucky enough to spot at Louma. With views over the countryside and the vineyards just a short walk away, this cosy space is made even cosier by its fireplace.

Luxuriate in the super king-size bed, read in the comfy chair or twirl in the rainfall shower – also roomy enough for a tango or two!

If you love wine and sunrise, this could be the room for you. With fantastic views to the south and east, over gardens and down to the sea, Dewdrop is also a room for fashionistas, with its walk-through dressing room.

If you like to shower alone, you’ll be delighted with the ensuite. If you’re a more sociable bather, then it’s the wonderful stone bath in the bedroom for you.

Seabird (the largest of our Farm House rooms) is named after the herring gulls that fly inland at night and back out to sea at dawn.

It’s something you might well see, while floating in the stone bath beneath the window. Look down, and you’ll see our Ornamental Garden and pond. Or, sitting at the desk facing west, you’ll see out towards our stables and the rolling hills beyond.

There’s a wonderful sense of space in this fabulous room, with exposed beams, high ceilings and a separate dressing room and marble-finished bathroom.

Named after the bees that make the honey for your breakfast, our Nectar Suite is Louma’s own special honeycomb.

Nestled in the heart of the old farmhouse, this inviting space features a cosy bedroom with a flexible adjoining additional bedroom with bunk beds (which can be closed-off) , and a spacious natural stone-finished bathroom. With breathtaking views stretching down to the sparkling blue horizon across the Ornamental Garden, you’ll likely never want to leave!

The bed is super king-sized, there’s a walk-in rainfall shower, and flat screen TV and sound system. The bees will be buzzing with envy.

This is the most westerly-facing room in the Farm House, with panoramic sunset views of the Braai pond, ornamental garden and vineyard. Gaze down to the sea then across to softly rolling hills; it’s a room to inspire artists and writers.

Be sociable in the bedroom’s stone bath, or contemplative in the marble-finished ensuite shower. The option to connecting the room with the twin-bedded FAWNS also makes this beautiful space ideal for families.

We were inspired to name this room after the graceful (and often mischievous) roe fawns that often frequent the farm. Overlooking the courtyard and fields beyond, you might also see our Ruby Red cattle grazing.

With two single beds, Fawn comfortably sleeps two adults or children, and can be booked on its own or as a connecting room to Eventide – making it ideal for fawns accompanied by older deer.
