Shepherd Huts

Our Lapwing Double Shepherd Hut (named after the ground-nesting birds we sometimes see at Louma) is the perfect place to contemplate nature.

With cheerful tones of mustard and grey, and clad in oak, the huts are connected by a glass walkway, with bi-fold doors providing privacy in each. There’s both an outdoor and indoor shower, one double bed and a double sized pull-down bed. You can write or eat at the dining table, or on the veranda, and there’s wood burning fire to keep you cosy in the winter months.

Clover is the glamour puss of our Shepherd’s Huts. But look carefully at the Tiffany-blue wallpaper and you’ll see hares, not swirls of gold, covering the walls.

Our cheerful Eland is painted in salmon pinks and dusky corals, making her the perfect place to chill out. You’ll see green hills from the sink, and sunset from the bathroom.

There’s a private garden, dining table and woodburning stove to keep you warm in winter. Nights will be snug in your pull-down bed, until you welcome the daisy-fresh morning.

There’s nothing weepy about our Willow Shepherd Hut. Beautifully decorated in bright yellow, greys and teal, it’s the perfect place to sit and watch white clouds roll across blue sky, or the sun setting on the sea.

There’s a private garden, dining table and woodburning stove to keep you warm in winter. Nights will be snug in your pull-down bed, and there’s also a sunset-ready bathroom.
